The Digital Arts 21st Century Student Work project was designed to teach teachers how to prepare student’s best work for display on a celebratory Web site. A group of 5 teachers participated in multiple after school professional development workshops lead by Christina Noyes. They learned how to use a digital camera in capturing student work. They also learned how to use software that allowed them to crop, edit and reformat their student’s work in order for it to be inserted into a Web page. The teachers participated in individual tutorials where they learned the fundamental steps in how to create and manage a Web site containing their student’s best work. The San Francisco Education Fund funded the project with a Learning and Professional Development Grant.
